you don't need differentials, it's just arithmetic
Area of a hemisphere is
A = 2蟺r虏 = 2蟺(40)虏 = 2513 m虏
multiply by thickness of 0.0007m to get 1.759 m鲁
multiply by 1000000 to get cm鲁 or 1759000 cm鲁

S=4pir^2 s=surface area of sphere, r=diameter
dS=8pirdr
dS is increment increase dr=.07, r=80 meters
find S and half of it find dS and take half of it. add and multiply by .07.
