over the painting?I want to start painting bathroom sinks. what kind of paint do i use and do i need to put a protective coat?
The only paint I've seen that will adhere to porcelain, and will take the abuse a sink takes, is a special porcelain paint found at hardware stores made specifically for refinishing bathtubs.

No kind of paint or clear protective coat sold in art supplies store can withstand that kind of use, so it's off to the hardware store with you!

Have fun %26amp; good fortuneI want to start painting bathroom sinks. what kind of paint do i use and do i need to put a protective coat?
i would think you would need an enamel paint and yes a protective or clear layer.WHAT A GOOD IDEA!good luck
you would need a ceramic paint and an oven big enough to put the sink in and then i think it would be a good idea to clear coat it.
