By reading the responses, it seems that it would not be OK. People still seem to believe that the Civil War was race based. Will it be OK when I become President to paint the white house a Nice coat of Confederate?
Um, in case you weren't aware, the South lost the War. Besides, wouldn't the president have more important things to do?

The president's spouse is traditionally the one who does the decorating, and I hear your 'significant other' is a flaming liberal.

LOL!!!
No, racism hasn't been commonly accepted for decades.

People like you make this world a sad, sad place.
Then it would be the Gray House - LOL.
Are you that bored?
Sure. Make sure you paint it all white first. Otherwise the turn coat won't hold.
Sure you could.....if you want to be assassinated by an African-American or any other minority.
What color is Confederate? Is that in the color family of loser or racist?

It might clash with the Washington Monument and Lincoln Memorial and all those hot spots.

I think you'll need to get Congress to give it the ok first anyway.
