Is it still necessary to apply clear coat on a glossy black paint?

just asking if do i still need to apply clear coat on the thingy i painted with a glossy black paint. I used Bosny acrylic epoxy glossy black as the color.....do i still need a clear coat for it?Is it still necessary to apply clear coat on a glossy black paint?
Depends on what did you paint and what finish you want. A clear coat is not always necessary. I personally use it to protect an item that has practical use. In painting a hardly ever use a clear coat = unless I want a certain finish.
