When painting, do you need to have a new roller for every coat of paint? ?

I am painting interior walls, with primer and then latex paint. I noticed that the primer seemed to go on less well with a used roller, but it seems expensive to use a new roller every time. When painting, do you need to have a new roller for every coat of paint? ?
Use one roller for the primer and another for the paint. After you use the roller for the primer, either clean it or place it in a plastic bag, seal well and place in the refrigerator. Do the same with the roller for the paint. This way, you only have to use two rollers and you can alternate as needed.

If you choose to place your rollers in plastic bags, you can do this for a while, but eventually they will need to be cleaned very well. Such a pain! This is the only part of painting that I don't like. Seems to take forever -- but is necessary. When painting, do you need to have a new roller for every coat of paint? ?
For doing multiple coats of the same paint you can reuse the roller quite easily. To save the roller between sessions, get a large zip lock bag, pop the roller in there, squeeze out as much air as possible and seal it up. You can also roll it up in plastic wrap.

It is possible to clean a roller to use it for different color paints or between primer and paint, but I have found it more of a hassle than it is worth.
You can yes the sane one. Leave it on the roller , take it outside use water hose, ,put thumb over end , put water on edge of roller , spin roller fast , move hose back and forth, roller will be clean and dry
yes, you need to either use a new roller every time or to save money you can wash off the one you have - just run it through the shower for 10 minutes. or you can buy a multipack of rollers because it's less expensive
st wash it out , when you change colors.
