I just bondoed my car then put 3 layers of primer then 3 layers of dupli color paint from adv auto. The area looks dull and flat compared to the rest of the car. What can i do to make it look shiny and protect it. Also why are you supposed to wet sant after every layer of primer, it just seems to sand the primer off every time?Where can i find clear coat to but over enamel paint?
Try your local auto store. Most of them have a paint section. Hope this helps.Where can i find clear coat to but over enamel paint?
for enamel there is no clear coat . only if you buy acrylic enamel automotive paint in comes mixed with it.and if you want it to look shiny . start again try removing all the paint to bare metal then first put self etching primer then put the regular primer on top then buy base coat automotive paint you are also going to need clear coat, hardner, reducer, these materials are in order for your car to look shiny. hope this helps
you can find it at your local auto paint store. did you ask the guy that sold you the paint? he would probably know how to get it.
